 This is the highest level of amateur football league in Canada that involves the greatest talents from all over Canada. There are 27 teams from 27 universities from all over Canada are participating on this league.

 They compete in this competition to get to the professional league. There would be so many talent scouts from some professional teams are scouting them. Perhaps, they would get some chances to enter the professional league.

 In Canada, 1961, an amateur football league that combines all universities to in a football competition was founded. In the beginning, it was named as the CIAU football league.

 It consists of 27 teams. Those teams were divided into four conferences. According to the history, the Queen’s Golden Gaels are the most recent champions. Those teams are the university teams.

 It means, Those 27 teams from all over Canada are consisting of college boys. For them, this is the main gate to the professional career as football players. If they played well in this league, they might have the chance to play as pros.
